MEET AMANDA
“I help women to become free, alive and break out of pain patterns that keep them stuck in the past.”
I fell in love with makeup at my Granny Zula’s side, growing up in Georgia with a dream bigger than the southern skies.
By 24, I packed my bags and chased that dream all the way to New York City. It took nearly a decade of grit and grace, but eventually, my work made its way onto the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, and even the cover of Rolling Stone with Fiona Apple. Seeing my artistry on the runways of New York Fashion Week was unforgettable.
I’ve had the joy of working with icons like Sarah Jessica Parker, Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, and Isabella Rossellini. One of the greatest honors of my career was creating looks for Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, and Joan Baez at the Grammys. I’ve also served as a spokesperson for Max Factor and Bourjois, and made national TV appearances alongside some of the beauty industry’s top editors.
But no matter how far I’ve traveled or how glamorous the moment, my mission has always stayed the same: to create space where women feel truly seen, celebrated, and radiant in their own skin. Because beauty isn’t just about how we look—it’s about how alive, powerful, and graceful we feel.
My Journey
I have been a student and teacher within the Healing Arts for over 25 years and studied extensively with yoga teacher Dharma Mittra in New York City. Since then I have also been an active member of the Sacred Center, New York community led by spiritual teacher and author, August Gold. In 2004 I graduated from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary as an ordained interfaith minister and completed the personal growth program at the Institute of Core Energetics in New York City, a body-based psychotherapy modality for healing and transformation.
Studying with Native American elders in ceremony has been a transformative part of my healing path. I am an advanced student of Dr. Joe Dispenza transformative, meditation work and extensive workshops and studies with Medical intuitive and Author Caroline Myss.
My personal journey with late stage, Lyme disease was my greatest teacher and after 32 years in New York as a celebrity Makeup Artist, I now live by a beautiful lake near my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia with my beautiful cat name, Miso.
